KC has big Corners and they were able to play Press Defense against Balt's small WR's (FLowers is 5' 9" 172) . This allowed the Safeties to push up and play the run and that is why they shut down Balt's run . Balt finally gave up on the run in late 3rd Qtr and their last 4 Drivers went for over 35 yards to 56 Yards and fumbled in the end zone. KC also played same press coverage vs. Miami and held T.Hill to 1 big Play. Now , they are going up against 6'3" 215 Jennings, 5'11" 215lbs Debo, 6'1" 200 Ayuk, therefore if they try Press Coverage against them then they will get buried to the ground as these WR's will have between 25 lbs to 15lbs on the 190 lb corners. Therefore, most likely the DB's will play off coverage and the safeties won't be able to press up and play the run. This will allow SF to take advantage of KC's 28th ranked run Defense as welll as Screens to Debo and McCaffrey and short passes to the WR's ( who are great at YAC!). This is the biggest advantage I see . Also, on Defense I am expecting a change in the DL on 1st and 2nd downs as Chase Young has been getting buried , therefore think they may move Armstead to DE and put in Kinlaw, Givens or Sebastian Day at DT. Then they will bring Chase Young on 3rd downs and some 2nd and Longs . This should improve their run defense and Armstead was playing DE before they got Chase Young . I am thinking this is more like the wins vs Dallas and Philly . Looking big win just like TB did to the Chiefs a few years ago. Lets GO!!!
