First time he's been on the field in Philly since the ban. Ceremony starts at 11 AM Sunday, I believe. This was supposed to happen in 2020, but didn't due to Covid.

Little difficult to keep up the ridiculous ban given MLB's embrace of gambling. The ability to bet on games probably is the last thing propping up this dying sport. NFL Hall of Fame game only 11 days away and then we can end this national nightmare of the lack of sports we care about.

Considering all the shady shit that’s happened in the sports world since then makes Pete Rose infraction seem like a jaywalking ticket.

I was out of town this weekend and didn't see it. Caught a little bit on YouTube. It was good to see Pete get some love, f*** it lol. He got a nice ovation, I did think I heard some boos mixed in. He was a big part of that team at 39. He's not walking too good tho. It is pretty crazy seeing him and knowing his story and all and now there are gambling ads all over the place.
