FYI

EMU shuts down RB Shaq Vann (shoulder)

136866.jpg

Eastern Michigan confirmed that sophomore RB Shaq Vann (shoulder) will not play again this season.

Vann was one of our favorite breakout running backs from the mid-major ranks heading into the fall. He started hot -- rushing 21 times for 166 yards (7.9 average) and two touchdowns in roughly 60 minutes of action -- before being felled against Mizzou. Ian Erikson officially takes over.

Really like the Nebraska play. One u should consider is Oregon -10 vs Colorado. Colorado is terrible without their starting QB. Against Michigan with Liufau in Colorado put up 28 points a da bunch of yards. Without Liufau Colorado couldn't even manage a legit first down. I just can't see how Colorado can keep this game close without Liufau at QB.

PDub or anyone, any insights why total moved on Wyo/EM? Got mine at O63 and currently at 61.5 in my book.

Thanks for the tidbit on Vann, but he is like 3rd on the depth chart in overall carries, i think.

I have been getting a lot of notes about how the line is moving. Down to like 60 or 61. Possibly because of Vann ? Not sure and if you all know me, I will say with out question " Who cares" haha I watch line movements like I watch reruns of
th
.... NEVER !!

I learned way back when at my Jedi Academy that "SHIT HAPPENS IN THE AIR". YES... SHIT HAPPENS IN THE AIR !!! Ok, what am I talking about ??

Alot of you have noted me saying that our OVER is now in some sort of jeopardy but cause some RB is out? Let's me just say an OVER IS WON IN THE AIR ...not on the ground.

I learned that an OVER IS WON BASED ON THE VOLATILITY of the AIR !! UNDERS ARE WON ON THE CALMNESS ON THE GROUND !!

Whats does that mean...

EVERY time the rock goes in the AIR it favors ( % wise) the OVER. OVER are won on how many times that rock enters the atmosphere. Even an incompletion can help an OVER cause it stops the clock. When I am on the OVER.... I love when teams got three and out through the air and take 11 seconds of the clock... giving it right back to the other team.

UNDERS are gotten by the CALMNESS on the GROUND. Ground and pound with no turnovers.

Like last night....CLEMSON - GEO TECH

IT was suicide to take the OVER. There was NO way that game went over 58...NO WAY. WHY

Geo Tech can't throw the rock at all....

Clemson right now, cant either........ There is no volatility in the air last night at all.... NO WAY that over can be reached...

Like I said in an earlier post, GEO Tech can take 8 minutes of the clock and still be out of FG Range...and that game was going to hit 60... no way..

Sure at times when the o/u is 40....and you have two ground and pounds you can reach the over, but you will always find some fumble in your OWN zone that helped... CALM is needed.....a fumble is not calm...

So, so much goes into capping a game... SO MUCH more than a 3rd RB on the DEPTH CHART GOING DOWN

But see the public doesnt get that and see some RB with a 7.5 average and freaks...thinks they have some golden nugget..BETS THE OTHER WAY...

This game was capped tonight on the QBs... WRs... and potential for INTs... not on a RB...

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

1) The HURT RB doesnt effect WYOMING'S OFFENSE AT ALL..hahahha
2) Now when EMICH needs 6 years they will most likely throw it one more time...
3) WORRY if the QB goes down on an OVER...or a #1 Receiver....

not a RB

Hope that helps...

Well said PW another example of the rock not being in the air was the NE/HOU GAME last night . NE CHEWED that clock up with there running game , hence Vegas wants us to believe that tonight scoring will be limited . ...REALLY ?? I don't think so. LET'S WIN SOME DANG MONEY PW
