Yes Im thinking that the bay area of Cal is just a notch up from the steel town area in Southern Ont.

Burlington is nothing like Hamilton even though they are neighbours. I grew up in Hamilton and moved to Burlington in 2003. What a difference lol. Next to no crime, and usually listed as 1 of the top 3 places to live in Canada.
It's a weird dynamic for a place located between Hamilton and Toronto.
