For what it's worth, I think the line is pretty fair as I would make Penn -12. Remember that Happy Valley is a better than average HFA, I think we saw a glimspe of that against Ohio St. That being said I could never lay this many puts with such an anemic offense and this is an early game so the fans will not be as lathered up. It could maybe have some recruiting implications with Temple being from Philly and Penn St. needs 1 more win for bowl eligibility. Are they letting Penn St. go to a bowl this year?

Yes, stupid bet! Worse bet of the year for me....money wise. I was trying to get up early last Saturday and got lucky as hell even though Penn State should have/could have won by more.

If you put 2500 on PSU ever this year you are crazy!!

im as big of a penn state fan as there is an there is no way in hell I would put that much money on them...

we have one of the best defenses in the country, and some very good skill players on offense but the offensive line is absolutely horrible...a lot of people are down on hackenberg but I blame it on the oline...he has been sacked more in 9 games than any nfl qb was in 16 games lastbyear....not to mention he is running for his life or getting hit on every passing play...the oline is simply awful..in fact two of the starters we defensive linemen about 6 months ago...it's that bad lol

But Penn State covered the early -5 number on that Indiana game. With teams like PSU or any other offensively challenged team for that fact, if they are favored in a game and you think they are going to win, you better get the best possible number out there because these are the kinds of games where the lines makers excel in setting these lines. Especially this time of the season.

I think the best bet will be how soon will the "For Sale" sign show up in the front yard of Bob's 3.5Million dollar house, LOL.

Well with Boren at the helm, I'd tend to agree with ya. The thing is, and from my dealings in the patch, the Natives are gonna get restless, and money talks in Oklahoma. I say he gets read the riot act after this season, and then it's either put up or leave. I called Switzer's departure, hell, that was easy. Bobby gets one more kitchen pass, that's it.
