For what it's worth, I think the line is pretty fair as I would make Penn -12. Remember that Happy Valley is a better than average HFA, I think we saw a glimspe of that against Ohio St. That being said I could never lay this many puts with such an anemic offense and this is an early game so the fans will not be as lathered up. It could maybe have some recruiting implications with Temple being from Philly and Penn St. needs 1 more win for bowl eligibility. Are they letting Penn St. go to a bowl this year?
But Penn State covered the early -5 number on that Indiana game. With teams like PSU or any other offensively challenged team for that fact, if they are favored in a game and you think they are going to win, you better get the best possible number out there because these are the kinds of games where the lines makers excel in setting these lines. Especially this time of the season.
