Detroit + 5.5 (2 units)
I've always believed a 5 / 5.5 pt dog at home is a trap. Is Detroit really that garbage? I highly doubt it. As soon as I saw this line early in the week at -4.5 i started thinking where this would head. I then came across a stat the proved the winner of the MNF game is a horrible ATS the following game. Somthing to the tune of 75%. Can't ignore that.
Personally I think Detroit is getting no respect here. I know Philly is the odds on fav for the NFC representitve. Especially after Monday nights showing against Minny. (as if Minny has a defense right?) Right now the public is pounding Philly at a rate of 70-90%. Absolutely no way I ride that bandwagon. I'll side with Vegas.
BAL / CIN (Over 34.5) (1 unit)
These two teams historically love to light it up against each other. They're averaging around 44 pts a game last 3 years. The last time it was low scoring between these two was when Baltimore had it's Superbowl run. This year's defense no where near compares to it's 2001 numbers.
With most of the public sold that Baltimore is offenseless (e.g. Boller, no Heap nor Taylor) I believe the opposite happens this weekend....
Slight lean on Cinncy but will pass on the side.
Good Luck all....
