Carolina +7 (7 units)
Over 36 (2.5 units)
Carolina ML (1 unit)
Simply put...they are the story of the NFL and further more the most inspired team. I've contributed to serveral different posts out there during the week so if you've been reading this pick should be no surprise.
I'll give all the credit in the world to New England for accomplishing a very impressive season (e.g. 14-0, great ATS record, come from behind wins, utilizing multiple players during key injuries, etc)
The fact I'm not playing them?
-They've not blown anyone out all season long. (week 17 doesn't count)
-No way I play them w/o a running game against this good of a defense
-Offensiveline, although protecting Brady throught the playoffs, are gonna have their hands full against 4 flatout STUDS.
-Fox isn't too shabby of a coach either to devise a gameplan against Billicheck (spelling)
-Lean goes to Carolina as far as the obvious (e.g. running, defense, special teams)
There are a ton more factors on bothsides which I can discuss but I'd rather not bother. There's enough separate threads out there to sift from
GL all and see ya at the window.
