if you are depositing the check, there is a "paper" trail. (shows up on bank statement)
it is better to cash the check than to deposit it.
no paper trail if you cash it.

Finally someone with a brain in this thread.

I have never had a problem.

I always deposit them at the ATM so i dont know if they would ever ask where its from but i highly doubt it.

I had a teller ask me about a check last year and I used quotes " none of your business".... I also get questions from nosey tellers when I withdrawl sums of money ( like 3k to take to vegas). I just tell them " none of your business" ..

I have used bank wires a few times, they do leave a "paper" trail. As long as the check is under $5000, a check wont leave a trail with the account that it came from

Of course there is a paper trail.....its a friggin check! And they know exactly where it came from thats what swiftcodes and aba numbers are for! However you can bet your sweet arse that the company who has the bank account isnt, THEGREEK.COM or SPORTSBOOK.com, or BODOGLIFE.COM and those urls won't be found anywhere on the check.

Just deposit the check from ABC Holding Company, Bumfuck Egypt and wait till it clears before you take the funds out.
