Now this is going to be fun. The perfect setup. Pats won't win 10 games. Pats are done getting to the big game.

Exactley... Did some more research on this. Whoever signs Butler WILL have to turnover a #1. Butler is a restricted free agent those are the rules. Pats have the leverage. They hold the cards on Butler. IF Butler does not sign a 3.91 million dollar contract by June 15 he than has to settle for 600K.
The first round pick is not a requirement. It will be whatever the saints and pats agree on

So let me put it this way.If part 2 of this trade were to not happen the trade sucks for the saints.Cooks worth way more then the 32nd pick and moving up a couple of spots in the 3rd.He's younger then some rookies .

Pats fans about to get pissed when I'm hey hear the details of the Butler trade. This part will be lopsided in favor of the saints just like the cooks part was lopsided in favor of the pats.Even though this is officially 2 separate trades this was all agreed on yesterday and technically this is allOne big trade even though it isn't.Cooks was due a big roster bonus at midnight yesterday that the pats is paying and butler could not legally be traded last night. If it weren't for those 2 things all this would have been done with one big trade. The pats aren't getting the 32nd pick back they gave up last night .

Every time they've had a stacked team on both sides of the ball they lose. They haven't repeated since spy gate so I see the urgency. But they are pretty much guaranteeing with these moves they wont win it next year. Forget injuries. Just look too good to be true.

On offense? Without Gronk, nah. That offense not scaring anybody. That's why they went out and traded a first rd pick for a very good wide receiver.

Looks like new england will find a solid TE in the draft most likely.

But Gronk was healthy......so we had him and Bennett....Blount and white, with dion Lewis coming back from injury. Hogan added to Edelman , Amendola, and Mitchell.....plus on dee, everyone was back. We added off line help and Chris long. We were stacked.

Chris Long is garbage. Amendola is a below average option. They didn't have a #1 wr and still won it all. Without gronk, they know that shit wont happen again. And the status of gronk is not a certainty anymore. His body is on the decline. Pats always have depth at rb. But you can't tell me that that receiving core without Gronk, is stacked. No where near stacked. I'd take david patten and deion branch over amendola and mitchell any day of the week at their best. This might have been their worst offense in a superbowl. Think about it, their 3rd string rb ended up as the star. Edelman is great I'll give you that.

Bet every game against the Pats, you will be a winner at the end of the year. Any team that won 12 games ATS, the following year that team wasn't a 500 team ATS.
