DENVER — A central Kentucky man accused of exposing his genitals on a Frontier Airlines flight faces trial in October on suspicion of obscene and indecent exposure on an aircraft.
Alan Michael Froula, 42, of Fisherville, about 20 miles east of downtown Louisville, pleaded not guilty Tuesday, according to documents filed in U.S. District Court in Denver.
Passengers and flight attendants reported seeing Froula's genitals exposed on Flight 4961 from Louisville to Denver on Saturday, according to an affidavit.
He was freed on $20,000 bond.
A phone message seeking comment from Froula was not immediately returned Wednesday.
Trial was scheduled for October 31.

A 40-year-old man was arrested after allegedly washing his genitals in a Northwest Portland park drinking fountain.
A witness told Portland police Jamie Todd Hensler tried to speak to kids and toss a water balloon at them at about 8:14 a.m. Monday in Couch Park on Northwest Glisan Street.
Hensler then started taking off his clothes, said Sgt. Pete Simpson, a police bureau spokesman, and began washing his genitals in the park fountain.
The kids were about 10 feet away, said Simpson.
Hensler was arrested and booked into the Multnomah County Jail on misuse of a drinking fountain, indecent exposure and disorderly conduct charges. He was also issued a park exclusion.
Hensler is due in Multnomah County Circuit Court on Aug. 3 in connection to a separate incident on June 23 where he is accused of assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering another person.
He has pleaded not guilty to the accusations.

Pro-tip: Don't be an assclown who goes around exposing yourself in public parks. Especially not if your name is "Donald Popadick," because you're going to spend the rest of your life being the brunt of a lot of jokes.


Popadick was arrested Tuesday at a riverside park in Ottawa, Canada. Via CTV News Ottawa:


Since April 14th, Ottawa Police had been receiving reports of a balding white male exposing himself at Mooney's Bay Park, a Rideau River park just north of the Ottawa International Airport.On Tuesday at around 9 a.m., police were again alerted by reports of the man exposing his genitalia to strangers along a park pathway. Officers in the area were dispatched to the park, where they arrested [Popadick], 62. Charged with Indecent Act and Mischief, he is due for a Wednesday court appearance.
If your name is "Donald Popadick" it's probably inevitable that you will, at some point in your life, do something very inappropriate with your penis in a public place. He managed to go 62 years before giving in to the pressure. So at least there's that.


When reached for comment, a Florida man named George Flashanut said "Whatever. Way and try to steal the limelight, Canada."
