Parlay hedge advice

Got a parlay pays 13 to 1 with Netherlands to win in reg as final leg. How would you hedge? CR plus 1 (+108) plus 1/2 (+167) or pick em (+433).

You bet the draw & Costa Rica to win in regulation.

This is what I absolutely hate about soccer, you can't hedge only one way, gotta be 2 other ways to secure.

I would go with CR plus 1 to get the push if Netherlands wins 1 to nothing in reg. You would hit both if they draw and Netherlands advances in overtime. It's the safest in my opinion

My book has the draw at +315 & CR to win at +545......

Depends on how much cash it is and what it means to you. Costa Rica +.5 means you win no matter what and carries the highest odds (less to risk) GL

El Taino, that's why I wrote advanced........meaning they won the game whether it was in regulation or extra time, hence advanced.......

11-0 for favorites advancing........as for regulation time, favs are 6-4-1 going into the last game........


If 13-1 pays the OP $1,300 for a $100 wager, I would bet for Costa Rica to advance at +340.......bet $300 to win $1,020 with a profit of $920 or win $1,300-$300 for a profit of $1,000

Agreed, but he needs to cover both or run the risk of losing it all because he has Netherlands in regulation. I was also responding to his options. Mathematically it all depends on what lines he's getting on the 3 way vs the +.5 and how much he actually wants to hedge, or if he wants to get greedy and try to middle. Yes, you're absolutely correct.......soccer has my mind screwed up. He's gotta bet the draw at +315 & CR at +545 or CR at +1 (-110)........

Can't wait until the NFL starts up.......
