Bonus Play: SMU +36.5
SMU had a horrible start last season, lost their coach, but made some improvements late in the season, at least on defense. Their offense was a huge problem all year long as they scored 10 points or less 8 times last season. That should change this season with a new head coach who has been known as a great offensive specialist. SMU should be able to go deep against Baylor whose defense was dead last in FBS last season in passes of 30+ yards allowed. Do not expect SMU to win many games in his first season but this team should be much better than last year. Baylor is a powerhouse again this season but they have a new Qb and the Sam Ukwuachu situation as a distraction.

Sun Belt teams do not host SEC schools all that often, but when they do, watch out. Arkansas State has the best SU/ATS record at home of all SBC teams. They had a rough first game of the season as they had to face USC in California but this is another story as they play this game at home. Missou won big last week but their running game both offensively and defensively was not good.

Won with Jacksonville (normal play) and lost with Seattle (only small play of the week). So, weekend: 3-1 on normal plays and 0-1 small.
