[h=1]Maryland Terrapins at Purdue Boilermakers [/h][h=1]Pick: Purdue -4[/h][h=1]In this huge BIG10 matchup between two top #20 ranked teams, you’ve got the recently stumbling Maryland coming into what I expect to be a very hostile environment in Purdue. Purdue has been absolutely exceptional at home this season, going 15-1 straight up; however, just 7-5 against the spread during that span. Maryland on the other hand has just a 4-4 record on the road, 3-5 when playing them against the spread. While Maryland is led by Melo Trimble, a guard who averages 14 ppg to go along with 5.2 apg, the matchup I’m most excited to watch in this one is freshman phenom Diamond Stone against senior 7-footer A.J. Hammons. Purdue has been one of the most efficient defenses all season, ranking #11 in field goal % allowed, at 38.7%. Interestingly enough, Maryland is ranked #11 in field goal shooting %.
