Those boos weren't aimed at Zappe. They were aimed at the new head coach, Mayo, for pulling Maye after one dinky series.

I was booing at my TV for the same reason.

They did. But you have to be a Patriot fan to know exactly why they were booing. They wanted to see our #3 pick for more than one series. We haven't had a top ten pick in over twenty years. We want to see him. Good or bad.

Nobody around here would boo Zappe. The guy has been a good trooper despite being dealt a short deck. Nobody hates or disrespects Zappe here.
