YES. Pain in the ass pet. I've had him for 12 years and would never get rid of him, but didn't do my research. Just thought it would be fun to have a giant ass bird. If I only knew then.......
But he's really smart and he can say a lot of things. I take him with me when I walk the dogs so he can get out and get some fresh air and sunshine. He's just so loud, messy and destructive!!
LOL. Then you feel my pain. I hand raised mine. They are pretty cool, and the smartest animal I've ever seen. He says things outta nowhere sometimes. My mom was singing and he told her to "Shut the fuck up." I was laughing so hard I was crying. Of course he learned that from me during one of his screaming fits, but I didn't think he would know how to use it to tell someone. He puts words together and makes songs and sings them. Calls the dogs over, then tells them to "beat it." He is really damn smart.
