rangers have not fared well against losing teams. plus, right before this slump started, they reached a high water mark for number of games above being .500, a spot they have stuggled for 2 or 3 games after reaching all season. 7 games left against the angels, that's the only hope.

i am glad they were able to occupy my attention through the summer though
