First of all, the HBO guys are idiots. When it comes to making a fight provacitve and interesting they do a very good job. But when it comes to mentally analyzing a fight they are not the brightest bulbs on the Xmas tree. In regards to round 1 I thought that Marquez was doing his thing for the first minute. I thought he was getting Manny. Then the knockdown happened and I was like - this could be a 9-9 round. Then the other knockdowns happened and I was like ok - 10-6.
But I can see an argument for 10-7. Anyway, I was drinking before the fight so I need to watch it again before I render my verdict.
All I know is my over 10.5 for a nickel was good.
