I don't care what the line is. Should Mayweather and Pacquiao meet, Manny will be victorious period. Mayweather would run just like De La Hoya did and Manny would pile up the points and most likely win by a decision, because pretty boy Floyd doesn't like to get hit and Manny is just too accurate with his punches to miss for very long.

Well, we agree that Floyd doesn't like to get hit - I'm just under the impression that he won't let himself

I almost never lose fight wagers and I will wait until I see how Floyd looks after his long layoff. However right now I am leaning towards Floyd. Anyway it's way speculative to even make a prediction when both fighters will have at least another fight before meeting ... If they ever do meet !

Floyd has a way to make good fighters look bad. Much like Roy Jones Jr. in his day. Remember when Hatton fought Floyd and the public and so called experts were saying how much stronger and relentless Hatton is well Floyd had a gameplan. Floyd is a pugilist he knows how to beat fighters. Especially if Floyd is the underdog in the fight then he will be a very dangerous man. It is easy to pick Manny now because Floyd has been retired and we only remember what we last saw.

When (and I stress when not if) they meet, PBF will be a slight Fav and the public will be behind him.

The public will lose.

Manny is the real deal. Has proved it over and over. He has all the tools.

Just hold on a minute there my friend. Floyd is the one that has never lost. PacMan has lost 3 times and has 2 draws if my memory serves me correct. Beating Hatton means almost nothing as He never was and never will be an elite fighter.

most of the odd's and betting lines in las vegas are made by L.V.S.C.... (LAS VEGAS SPORTS CONSULTANTS) the company was founded by mr. roxborough who retired in 1999.
roxbororough who now writes with a syndicated column on sports betting called "american line".... was quoted as saying..... in his morning rag..... he would make manny pacquiao -120 over floyd mayweather jr. +110 at the m.g.m. grand las vegas, nevada on dec 12th 2009.@)

You hold on there. PBF is famous for ducking quality opponents.

Who has he beat?

Forget about Pac's overall record. This guy gets better with every fight and Freddie Roach has this guy locked in.

Pac's last 2 fights were impressive but we should keep them in perspective for sure.

Im not looking at the opponents he beat. Im looking at how he beat them.

Floyd will go down.

Whats more important to Floyd?

Keep your legacy in tact? Or the big paycheck?

He must decide.

Hatton made a name for himself beating an old Kostya Tszyu. He was a club fighter when he fought Mayweather and when he fought Manny he was an exposed club fighter. Manny has looked good his lastfew fights but he still has a suspect record and a couple of suspect wins by decision.

Boxing loves to do this to us by putting two fighters on a collision course to generate some mega bucks. As fas as I am concerned Floyd was told to take sometime off to keep his record and appeal intact so they can pop another fighter to the top and generate a mega pay per view that will probably not live up to its hype.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. so now the Hatton win was a fluke like DelaHoya. Guess you guys just decided to sit on the fence prior to the fight before you chimed in.

You people crack me up.

Sorry, but Floyd took time off because he won the title and is too chicken shit to take on elite talent.

Hatton has never been anything but an average fighter. If you want to go back to when He fought Floyd, you will find my posts saying just that. Hatton is a nice guy but not a great fighter and anyone who says He is doesn't know boxing ! I had decent $$ on Pacman but I seldom go crazy posting when the odds are - 250 to - 300. Where have you ever seen me post anything negative about Pacman ? I did just state a fact that He has lost 3 fights and had 2 draws ! I also stated a fact that Mayweather has never lost a fight. I never said the Hatton win was a fluke ! It was an awesome win but not a win that really is significant. Beating Delahoya was only significant because Oscar was an elite Hall of Fame fighter but everyone knows that Oscar was far past his glory days and a shadow of his past.
