Even though the Green Bay Packers haven't couched the idea of trading for Tim Couch, they still want him. But it's very clear the team is willing to move on without Couch if he doesn't sign a multi-year deal.
The Packers are evidently showing interest in New England Patriots backup quarterback Damon Huard. ESPN reports the Packers will bring him in for an official visit on Tuesday.
Huard is a free agent who turns 31 in July. He has registered only six career starts, all of them when he was with the Miami Dolphins from 1998 to 2000.
He last completed an official pass in 2000. His arm strength has always been a question mark.
