Holy Hannah it's hot - It's 102 F in my home in North Vancouver right now. - We don't have AC because the hottest it normally gets here is 85 degrees and that is in Late July when we are away at the lake so no need to have that house cooling . The rest of the summer it usually ranges between 75-80, but cools down at night.

Last night it was 90 in house at midnight.

Fans, etc, keeping me cool in Vancouver.

They were saying it would reach 40 C today, but it's now looking like a high of only 36, with the rest of the week returning to normal temperatures.

There have been worse heat waves in recent years due to them lasting for weeks.

91 here right now less hot but still hot for us amphibious west coasters who are use to cool temps and rain at this time of year.

They usually call June Jun-u-ary in Vancouver. Forecast is for a hot dry summer and lots of forest fires - gulp
