JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW SOME PEOPLE KNOW WHO A GOOD COACH IS AND WHO ISN'T.

AS FAR AS i'M CONCERNED B. KNIGHT IS GOOD.

TAKES ATECH TEAM WHO WAS PRETTY MUCH THE DOOR MATT FOR THE BIG 12, AND HAS BACK TO BACK 20 WINS. I WOULD THINK THAT WOULD BE GOOD COACHING.

BUT MAYBE NOT, MAYBE THE COACH BEFORE JUST REALLY SUCKED.

AND THAT IS MY POINT. HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HAT SIZE. JUST WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME FACTS, UNSTEAD OF PEOPLE JUST SAYING A COACH SUCKS.

HOW MANY CAPPERS HERE HAVE ACTUALLY PLAYED D 1 BASKETBALL, HOW DO YOU KNOW WHO SUCKS AND WHO DOESN'T. I KNOW I DON'T. AS WITH ABOUT 98% ON THIS FORUM.

WITH DUKES TEAM I COULD THROW OUT ANY 8 OF THE ALL AMERICANS AND WIN 60% OF THOSE GAMES FOR A SEASON. SURE I WOULD MAKE SOME MISTAKES THAT WOULD COST A FEW GAMES HERE AND THERE. BUT I BET I STILL COULD BEAT VALPO BY 30.

PUT COACH K AT PRINCETON NEXT YEAR, LETS SEE HOW GOOD HE REALLY IS. I DOUBT IF HE IS GOING TO THE FINAL FOUR.

Most are here to enhance their ability to win some cash. Rail, at one time you were one of the "best" game pickers around. But as of late you are more into "phylogeny" than winning money. Wisc GB, Morehead St & Will & Mary picks were all about the coaching and nothing to do with winning money. Get back to the basics, and leave the BS to the professors in college.

agree - UOP can beat them and for the big west - it might be the best thing that could happen - for i believe (as does the BW) that usu WOULD get an at-large bid - but UOP won't. for a conference that hasn't had 2 bids in over 10 years - getting 2 teams in would be great. and IF UOP gets in - they are every bit as solid as USU and will be a tough out

OSU overrated??? Who ever overrated them?? All they do is play great D and have a ton of scorers(something Eddie Sutton hasn't had in the past.) OSU could very well go all the way... And Miss st. overrated too?? Ha ha, we'll see, interesting thread.

I will say they are overrated, not by coaching, but by all of the experts picking them to be in the Tourney.

Do you know that the best team they beat this year is DePaul? One win against top-50 competition should not make the tourney. I realize they played a tough non-confetence schedule, but couldn't they win just one of those games?

Next year the Spartans will have a chance to dominate the Big 10. Not this year however.

 

Washington, Stanford and BYU underrated?

dude - you're about as wrong as can be. all of your teams, save wisc are OUT. wisc will be gone after today and this post will be deemed irrelevant if it's not already. I wouldn't be so harsh but your last comment precipitated a harsh reply.
