I am guessin that there are illegalities involved concerning the food stamps. Your state needs a debit card system.

How so? Illinois has the LINK card and you can buy any food product with it. I'm not following...what illegalities?

It's not the obese lady's fault'; she is a victim of high fructose corn syrup; she should get a huge settlement to help her get lap band gastric surgery; and an exciting new wardrobe...

Guys his post above DOES NOT spread hate. Unfortunately, he is largely speaking the truth. If a white person strikes a kid at a store, CPS is called. A black person can hit and blood can be seen and no one will even say anything

Don't be mad at the people making bad choices with the money, be mad at the people that give them the money to make bad choices.

Baby left behind when alleged shoplifters try to escape store security, BSO says
Sun Sentinel
8:54 a.m. EDT, September 16, 2010
NORTH LAUDERDALE —
A woman and her children left their baby behind during an alleged shoplifting incident at a Walmart, the Broward Sheriff's Office said late Wednesday night.
A woman and two of her children, ages 13 and 11, were allegedly putting merchandise into their purses, a diaper bag and the stroller with the 6-month-old inside, said Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion.
Security at the Walmart, located at 7300 W. McMab Road, had been watching the family and approached them about 8:30 p.m. when they were leaving the store, Concepcion said. The woman and the two kids ran back into the store in an attempt to hide, leaving the baby in the stroller unattended, she said.
All three were arrested. The children will be released and placed in the custody of the father of the 6-month-old, Concepcion said, and the mother will be charged with shoplifting. Others charges are possible.

Why don't you start your own thread with this article? This has nothing to do with Dante's original post. I dont' want to wade through 3 pages of stuff I've read already to find the new stuff.

Dante's original post had to do with food stamps. You post had to do with shoplifting. Just because they were both at WalMart doesn't mean they are related. They are two totally different conversations.

I had to scroll through 3 pages to find what is current because I had read the original post when it was posted. I thought the additional posts had to do with food stamps. But no, they didn't because your post had nothing to do with food stamps. So I waste my time to end up reading about shoplifting which I wasn't interested in.

This is why people are so irritated at you bumping old posts. If you want to post articles like the one you did start your own thread. I've been posting on message boards for over 15 years and everyone other than you can grasp this simple principle.

HUNTINGTON -- A Huntington couple was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly stealing a motorized cart from Wal-Mart.
State Police arrested Billie Jo Stevenson and Jonathan Lee Misner, early Monday morning after, according to police, they stole a motorized cart from Wal-Mart on Route 60 and headed across the street to JB's Gentlemen's Club.
At about 1:22 a.m., dispatch received a call of two suspects on a motorized cart heading out of the Wal-Mart parking lot and west on Route 60. The two remain behind bars the Western Regional Jail, bond for both suspects is set at $11,000.
State Trooper Willis Hash said this isn’t the first time motorized carts have disappeared from the store.
“A few months prior to this we arrested two juveniles stealing a cart,” Hash said. “We arrested them in the Marcum Terrace area.”
While some, including law enforcement, may find the crime funny, this crime is no laughing matter.
“It was quite humorous when it came over the radio,” Hash said.
“It’s a serious offense,” Hash said. “It was a felony arrest on both subjects.”
Stevenson was charged with grand larceny and Misner was charged with grand larceny and public intoxication. The cart is valued at about $3,000.

I am in line behind this lady who has 3 kids and is pretty overweight... She has 3 sets of WICK food stamp checks that she is paying for about 5 gallons of milk and apple juice, cheese and peanut butter .

Behind that what she is buying , and I am not kidding in the least,

6 boxes Honey buns
3 boxes hostess frosted donuts
3 cases of Pudding
4 bags of chips

That is what SHE is paying for .... So the taxpayers give these scammers and deadbeats money for milk and cheese so they can continue to eat like pigs with there donuts???

I " almost " said something but I did not... the guy next to me said WOW , unreal "when the lady left and she turned around but did not say anything

makes one sick:>(

Stafford investigates udderly shocking shoplifting

By DAVID PIERCE
Published: April 27, 2011

STAFFORD, Va. --
Walmart shoppers in Stafford County saw the sight of their lives Tuesday night—a cow, on all fours, trying to score gallons of milk.

An 18-year-old man dressed up in a cow suit stole 26 gallons of milk around 10:35 p.m. from the Garrisonville Walmart, Stafford County Sheriff’s spokesman Bill Kennedy said.

The man was apparently crawling while he exited the store, trying to emulate cattle, Kennedy said.

Soon afterward, witnesses told Stafford sheriff's deputies that the man was handing out the pilfered milk jugs to passersby outside of the Walmart, Kennedy said.

It was unclear Wednesday how he managed to get all of that milk out of the busy store on Garrisonville Road.

Kennedy said that store employees saw the thief “skipping down the sidewalk” in the cow suit before leaving the immediate area.

Stafford County sheriffs said they went to a nearby McDonald’s restaurant for a disturbance call, and the responding officer saw a man — not in a cow suit — there that seemed to match the culprit.

The suspect was taken back to the Walmart, and management confirmed he was the thief of the pasteurized potion.

The cow suit was found in the man’s car, Kennedy said.

Kennedy did not identify the suspect, who was released on a summons to appear in court.

Kennedy admitted the theft was bizarre.

“This is probably one of the most unique efforts of shoplifting I’ve seen,” Kennedy said. “It might’ve been a prank that went wrong, but it isn’t as funny when [the suspect] breaks the law.”

Kennedy said the sheriff's office didn't have surveillance video of the theft, but said it would have been interesting to see.
