Buzz mine down to a quarter inch myself every month or so via that new Remington shortcut. Easier to use than my aunt.

I go once a month and pay $30 for the haircut but I tip her $20 and I also give the shampoo girl $10 so it cost me $60. I always give huge tips whether its dinner, haircut, or whatever the case might be. For dinner I tip anywhere from 40-70% depending on how good he or she is. Like I have stated in other threads I am a huge believer in karma and I hate cheap people with a passion.

I hope their giving you a "Happy Ending" for those tips... :):)

I just appreciate what people do that's all. I understand there are tons of cheap people who tip little or don't tip at all. So if I can make somebody's day by giving them a nice sized tip then so be it. These people grind it out everyday and deserve to be compensated for their hard work.

It all depends on the owner of the place. Sometimes stylists get 50% and some could only make 30% of whatever the cost of the haircut is.

$0. I do it myself. It always gets fucked up when I go somewhere to get it done so I just fuck it up myself for free.

Barely more than that. Min. wage here in Vancouver is $8/hour and they may make $10-12/hour depending on the place, closer to $10 at most places. Like someone else said I just appreciate people in the service industry because I work in it myself. If the girl does a good job on my hair and is friendly and polite then she deserves a nice tip and I'll think nothing of tipping $15-$20 on a cut. Like this at restaurants too.

Mostly I just could never be "that" guy who sits there for a minute calculating exactly 15% of his $12.99 haircut and counts her out some spare change.

Once every two weeks for $11 and a $3 tip. I don't tip like some of the highrollers on here but about average I guess.

I tip more at a restaurant where the girl or guy is running around like a mad person turning orders like crazy.

Sorry guys, but I have never seen another man tip at SPORTS CLIPS!

OK, usually I will bump it up to $15 with a $2 tip. I thought that the idea of this thread was to find who pays the least for the haircut, hence the $1 tip. But I am not tipping more than 15% for a haircut at SportsClips. None of the other customers give anything
