OT: Home/ductless mini split/single zone AC/heat systems

[FONT=&quot]Looking into a 15k and 12k Mitsubishi system. The GL15 and GL12 models that I want, I can get them direct from an authorized dealer for $3800 shipped (both together) to my door. I called around and these guys want between 8K and 10K materials/labor. I'm at 3800 and if I get all the necessary extras that I need for both, my total would be $4800. Just need someone to install, but tough to find a good honest tech[/FONT]

Yep and they are making $3000+ profit for each one around here. Scam city, but people fall for the warranty sell too.
