OT- Have you lived in a in foreign country?

Spain and Italy are racist as all hell. Definitely something to consider when and if you were to move. There are a lot of diverse countries in Europe (Netherlands, Germany, France, England).

I would move to Europe in a minute if I could. This country is going to hell.

Lived in Costa Rica, Panama, Peru and Mexico.

All great places, although Peru would be the last of those 4.

As far as the original question-the only thing you can do is try it. I've been in Costa Rica for 2 months, but have decided it's not going to be a permanent thing.
