Bad beats ! I would have rather Lost a dime on a game , then spend 11 Fuking hours in and out of airports.
So far it looks like I will be getting in Tomorrow around 3pm Vegas time.
My problem is that the first part of my trip to Vegas was Business.
We will now Miss Two days and will cost me a lot of $$$$$$$$
Jetblue, and it will be the LAST TIME I fly them.
They were always good, going back and forth to FL.
But the past 3 times going to Vegas, had no problems.
Yesterday was a fuking Nightmare.
Side Note is...My wife and I Both smoke ( hey, Only bad habit ) LOL
So for about 11 hours, we both didn't have a Cigarette. Because everytime we asked how long will it be until the flight, they said
Oh, you won't have time to go out, go though the check-points, etc and get back in time.
The fuked up thing is, when our first flight was cancelled. We could have booked a flight for this morning.
But thought with the Weather report for Today in NY, we were better off taking the NY to Boston to Vegas.
The Boston flight kept being pushed back, 4:30, 5:25, 6:05, 6:25,6:45,
7:05, 7:30, etc.... Then we got worried about the Flight out of Boston to Vegas, because That was leaving at 8:00pm
They told us that the 8:00 Flight was delayed to 8:45
We thought at that point, we aren't making that One. Then they said, NO PROBLEM ( famous last words ) That the Plane that we are taking from NY to Boston, is the Same Plane that they are using from Boston to Vegas !
That we wouldn't even have to get off that Plane....But of course when we got into Boston. That Plane was being used for a Denver Flight !!!
Not wanting to get left in Boston, they said they would return us to NY
But had like 20 mins to get on that Flight !
We asked about our Suitcases, they Said NO PROBLEM !! LOL
Yeah Right !! We get back to NY, but our Bags Didn't !
Hanging out back at JFK, Looking for our Bags...for 2 Hours !! found One
Not sure about the other. All this at 3:00AM in the morning
At first, They didn't even want to give our Money back OR Credit.
But the Wife Fixed that shit.
But the Kicker as of right now is, when all the shit was going on. and we didn't think we were going to make it until Later in the week.
The wife Cancelled our Mirage rooms !!!
Now trying to get them back, but don't look good.
I'll never fly Delta again. I ordered tickets from them because only Northwest was cheaper and I refuse to fly Northwest because of their horrible on-time record and maintenance record.
So what happens after I get my tickets? They assign them to Northwest! It was too late to switch airlines. It would have cost me hundreds more at that time. F'ers!
Now JetBlue has always been good for me. I always fly to Vegas using that airline. I also flew from Boston to Long Beach (5 hours) and wanted to watch TV. Everything was decent. Sorry to hear you got such a bad deal with them BAS.
uke1:Just a minor incident with immigration this afternoon...the guy said I need a new passport because my old one is worn out...told me if he wanted he could have sent me back to Costa Rica...there were plenty of yes sirs thrown out...his last question was what do you do for a living(I get this one everytime)...told him I was retired and he replied "you must be doing real well for yourself"....he was thumbing through my passport and commenting on the places I have been since last year...I replied "Yes sir, life is good"
