OT: Best cover songs

What are your favorite cover songs? Any genre.

You may like the original version but the cover version is WAY better?


I will start by saying I love "Always on my mind" by Willie Nelson. I like it better than Elvis's version

I also like these 2 songs:

"The boys of summer" by alien ant farm
Zombie - forgot who sang the cover but song came out last year.


The reason i like the song is, well first, i LOVE the orignal and 2nd, it has a unique sound in today's music

These 2 songs above would probably never make a "top 100 covers list" but i like said, i find them unique

Weezer just came out with a cover of Africa. There's a bunch. To name a few

Great song. I like the Pearl Jam version a lot. Not a fan of their other work.

Weezer just came out with a cover of Africa. There's a bunch. To name a few

After Weezer did Africa, Toto returned the favor and covered a Weezer song. However i cannot remember off the top of my head what song they did. I want to say "hash pipe" but could be wrong
