CR Best Buy
This offers the best combination of taste and price. It is recommended.

Recommended
These are top-scoring coffees within their types, though they may not be top values.

In quality order, within types.
(Types designated A and B.)

Rounded to the nearest 5mg. Variable in quality from batch to batch. Less than 5 milligrams caffeine per cup. Guide to the Ratings
Based on blind taste tests by coffee experts. Caffeine analyzed in our labs based on manufacturer serving sizes. Desirable flavors include earthy, like baked potato skins; fruity, like aroma of ripe noncitrus fruits; and nutty, like toasted nuts. Less desirable: woody, like wet ice-cream sticks; papery, like wet cardboard; burnt, like charred beans. Costs are approximate retail; cost per cup is for 6-ounce cup, using manufacturers' suggested amounts. Packages ranged from 11 to 16 ounces.

I drink so much coffee I get a thank you note from Bogata on a monthly basis.
My fave is a French Roast, wifey likes 1/2 caff.
We make it in a simple coffee maker, comes out just fine.

Whatever type of coffee you like, grind your own beans and you will get a very good, fresh beverage. I use Folgers, but just about any bean is great. You can get grinders for under $15 at Walmart.
Also, use an old fashioned stove top percolator. Don't use the electric type percolator. Percolators produce much better coffee than coffee makers. You get about twice as much caffeine with percolated coffee, so if you are trying to restrict your caffeine you may want to pass on this.
If you do these two things you will make a cup of coffee far superior to anything Starbucks can stick you with $5 for.

Single Cup Vietnamese Style Coffee Filter
As seen in Food and Wine Magazine. This traditional one cup coffee filter is an icon in many asian restaurants. The single cup slow drip filter infuses the coffee with the full flavor and fragrance of the coffee's oils. Comes in 3 pieces: stainless steel body, lid, and removeable screw type screen. To make coffee, remove lid and screw out the upper screen. Put in the coffee (3 to 4 teaspoons). Tighten the screw moderately. Pour in a little boiling water to fill about 1/4 of the coffee filter. Wait for about 20 to 30 seconds. Undo the screw down screen a couple of turns. Refill with boiling water and replace the lid. Easy cleaning dishwasher safe durable stainless steel construction. Cup is not included.2-1/2" Dia x 2-1/2" High body
Fits cups 2-1/2" diameter to 3-1/2" diameter

Dunkin Donuts has come out with a coffee you can buy in the supermarkets and i love it. It's about 8.00 for a bag but it is worth it.

I have a Keurg machine. I just bought this the other day KCups "Donut shop coffee" It was very good. I found the other Kcups weak, but this had a very good flavor. My wife likes that flavored stuff and I like plain coffee. She brews her own and I toss in a Kcup and go! :dancefool

If you have a Trader Joe's near you try some of their coffees. Better quality and actually less expensive than many of the brands you'll see in the supermarket.

This is a great cup of Joe for the price... My local Publix store has only been stocking it in the ground version... I prefer whole bean so I can grind it myself just before brewing it... :103631605
