I'm investing in Orlando -2 to beat Carolina tonite. They've had two weeks to prep and made some changes in their struggling secondary (struggled vs two pretty good QBs in TB's- Stafford and Austin's-Kaleo). Head coach Jay Gruden waived rookie DSs Paul Miranda and L Glover. Gruden filled out roster by waiving OL/DL Derrick Ham and signing former UCF star OL/DL-Josh McKibben and DSs Arkee Thompson and Sam Young. Thompson played 3 seasons in the af2, was all-time af2 leader in career ints w/ 27. Thompson appeared briefly on Ga Force roster in 2003 and went to camp with the Force in Feb of this year. Young appeared on Colorado Crush’s 03 roster but did not play in any games, before going to training camp this season with the same team. His NFL experience includes pre-season stints with Chicago (2001), Green Bay (2001) and Denver (2002). If nothing else, the shake-up should get the remaining players a little more motivated.

I'm not sold on Carol's QB-Nagy yet. He had two good games then only went 12-23 vs Arizona and had only 1 td pass vs 3 ints. Also, superstar OS-B Holmes is still out and WR-Groce is questionable.

Two weeks prep and a near must-win situation for the 0-2 Predators.

I see Orlando coming out strong, and I feel at this point in the year they are somewhat underrated after a slow start!

Ya know Olddog I really think that most people who try to handicap the AFL try to analyze the matchups & they seem to treat it as though it was the NFL! This is not the NFL, I really think if cappers would cap these games looking more at the whole as in "team offense & defense", they would do much better capping this sport! BTW nice call old one
