Appreciate everyon'e responce to prior post.

I've also thought of opening a business down here that would require bringing in product from the US. From what I've seen on other posts in this Forum, I'm not getting the the impression that Costa Rica is very business friendly to outsiders. Could I get your thoughts on that? Also, if anyone knows, what are the rents of some of the smaller shops at Multiplaza and Mall San Pedro. Thanks again in advance.

Business here is extremely difficult unless you're in gaming or online pharmaceuticals where the financial rewards ease the nightmare of dealing with local officials and the neverending stream of people looking to "help" you.
I know a small shop in Mall San Pedro can go for around $2,500/month. Multiplaza Escazu is going to obviously be higher, but the clientele is very different. If you're selling quality goods, you can charge more at Multiplaza than Mall San Pedro where you see more knockoff clothing and trinkets....HF

In Costa Rica you can get a great response or not, actually it depends on how you manage your product, Mall San Pedro is cheaper than Multiplaza Ezcazu or Multiplaza Zapote, but searching you can get a great deal.

Also i recomend you to check prices, people, companies, or even how to get a license for your company, cause many around charge with extremely high prices and sometimes you never get what you ask for or you get it in a long time.

So first try to get information if your product can be sell in Costa Rica, check if the price is good for everybody or just for some(well it dependes in wich market u want to enter), because we all here check the price first and some even when they even know is a bad product compare to the other they buy the one with better price. And everything that you might know.

But please, cause I hate how some people always try to get the money from investors, giving them extremely high prices, I have a lot of this stories. So Check eveything before just deal with one person. There is a lot of competition so you can get huge differences in prices and in everything you may need.
