Haven't been posting much in the picks forum, due to time constraints at home and at work. But, have been capping and posting in record tracker forum, and have done OK in soccer this year.
There is one game that lines up very well in the UEFA cup today:
RENNES Pick -145 Over Shaktar Donetsk
Rennes is in good form, winning 4 of their last 6, and their last 2 at home. Shaktar has played well recently in the Ukrainian League, but I think there is a big difference between the French Ligue 1 and the Ukranian League. Rennes is in dire need of this win, as they sit near the bottom of a very tough Group G with zero points. Only the top 3 of the 5 advance, and without this win, they have no chance of advancing to the next round. Shaktar not really in dire need, as they are in a 3 way tie for first in Group G, and with another team (PAOK) in that Group with zero points, none of the three first place teams should be that worried.
So, you have a team in decent form, at home, with their backs against the wall, against a team from a lesser league with less to play for. In addition, Shaktar is without leading scorer and three other players for today's match.
Looks very solid to me.
