Hi all, I've been betting for a little over a year now but am I just starting to get very serious about it.

One quick question, what does "fading it" mean?

fading means going against a pick i.e. I'm fading the giants here means I am picking Tampa Bay usually used when a bad capper or sports tout's pick is up for debate

So if a majority pick is like 70% and you're fading it, you're taking the team with the 30%???

that would be correct.

Also some will 'fade' a capper who post plays regularly and is a known square on the forums......the more you read the forum you will be able to pick and choose who you may or may not want to follow.
