IT DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF HORSE, TROTTERS RACE ALMOST EVERY 7-10 DAYS...THOUGHBREDS 14-21 DAYS. THE QUALITY OF THE HORSE ALSO MAKES A DIFFERNCE...IE THE TOP HORSES MAY RUN EVERY 30 DAYS OR MORE.........G.

Wow, thats a lot horses. The database must be huge. Off the top of my head thats close to 10,000 horses if they race every 10 days. A pro handicapper must work 18 hours a day reviewing tapes and such. Anyway, thanks.

YOU WILL FIND THAT MOST HANDICAPPERS HAVE A FEW TRACKS THEY FOLLOW. THERE IS A HANDICAPPER IN THESE FORUMS MAZELTRICK, HE PLAYS MOSTLY WESTCOAST TRACKS HOLLYWOOD PARK,S.A, DELMAR.

CERVEZA PLAYS MOSTLY FLORDIA TRACKS, CALDER
AND SO ON.......SO I HAVE A FRIEND WHO PLAYS ONLY TOP TRACKS, AND IF THEY ARE NOT RUNNING HE DOESN'T HANDICAP...........G.

I see, that would be a smart approach. I know paramutual markets are efficient so they seem to be doing their job (handicappers). I guess the big money is in who's second or third at these events because after that its random I suppose.
