Guys:

Sorry! We have had a power outage this morning that knocked put my high speed cable as well as my back-up telephone modem. Back on-line now and hopefully will be throughout the day.

I have been invited to participate in the RX Scorekeepers NFL Playoff Contest and my early plays are currently shown under that topic. I am strong on Dallas today. I may add and hopefully be able to get my write-ups in and not have any further power outages. Hope to be back a little later. Good luck today.

Savant:

The reason I teased this game is that I find it to be a tight call for both the side and total. To try and answer your question. I have an ever so slight lean to Tennessee and the Under, but candidly, I could make a case for Baltimore and the Over almost as easily. This is tougher than it first appears. No outcome on this game will surprise me. Hopefully, I can get back later with a write-up.

Right now I am disappointed in a response received from the RX Scorekeeper on the "Bowling For Dollars" College Contest. Going to take a break and have something to eat. May be back later with write-ups. Not sure right now. Not mad, just very disappointed.

Aloha Ted, that shit about no prize for the contest that RX was monitoring is a crock of shit. Fvck his other contest, you dont have to prove anything to anybody. I think they do it so they can themselves make it easy for them to see who to follow or something along the lines of that. Unless they helping the books somehow. That is bunch of bullshit about they trying to prevent people from padding their records. Full of shit. They have a different agenda and thats why I never entered any of their contest. The only reason I entered this one was because I saw the prize was being offered, other than that , I have know reason to enter any bullshit contest at all. People want to see my plays and my info. then come to my threads. If they dont want to or dont trust me, then dont. I could care less, I dont get paid for posting any winners. I would stay out of their contest. But still its only my opinion and you of course know what is right for you. Aloha CC.

Back to provide my analysis and selection of the Dallas vs Carolina game.

This game provides some excellent fundamentals. First, Carolina will attempt to run the ball first with Davis to try and allow for an ability to pass for Delhomme. Problem with this is that the Cowboys have the best defense defense in the league allowing only 3.5 yards per carry and Davis has been slowed by an ankle injury. The Cowboys held Davis to 59 yards on 26 carries in their first meeting that the Cowboys won 24-20. Second, Delhomme will be facing a secondary that allows only 176 yards per game and 48.6% completions with a 18-13 TD to inception ratio and a QB efficiency rating of 67.6. Third, in the first game, Cowboy QB Quincy Carter completed 29-43 for 254 yards and 66% completions, while Delhomme completed 9-24 yards and 37% completions. Dallas had a 319 to 244 yardage edge. Carolina has a slight special teams edge primarily because of John Kasay. However, overall, there is a huge edge to the Cowboys in overall team speed both offensively and defensively. The wide receivers of the Cowboys can stretch the field and the defensive unit is very fast to the ball. Carolina started the season playing good solid football and excellent defense. They have tired as the season has progressed, as they yielded 24 points last week to the NYG. The Cowboys have gotten better and better as the year has progressed and continued to hold their opponents in check due to their defense. Last, but certainly not least, is coaching. Bill Parcells is a great, I repeat, a great coach who is dedicated to detail and will have the Cowboys prepared and finely tuned for a top performance. John Fox is in his first playoff game. Enough said. This is a very solid situation and getting points is just a bonus. I considered actually making this another rare 5* play but since we just released one on USC, I will not get greedy, but support anyone who wishes to go strong on this play. Hence,

3* Dallas +3

Overall Unit Record YTD: (60-33.1) 64.31% 5*(1-0)(+5.0) 3*(6-2)(+11.4) 1*(37-24-2)(+10.5)
Overall W/L Record YTD: (44-26-2) 62.86%
NCAAF Record YTD: (21-7)(+23.1) (Bowl Game Record 19-7 Included)
NFL Record YTD: (6-6-1)(-2.9)
NCAAB Record YTD: (12-9-1)(+4.1)
NBA Record YTD: (5-4)(+2.6)

Good Luck All

ted, first i want to say is that i only have a small 1 unit play on carolina.... however i disagree with you on this one...

Parcells is great, ill give you that.
Dallas slightly bett WR's, ill give you that.

However, ill take Delhomme over Quincy. "He will lose this game for you". I feel he has regressed and not progressed.. Ill take Stephen Davis over the Cowboys backs. The defenses in this game are close. Carolina has the home field, which is what dallas had in the first meeting and that was huge..

Good luck Ted, but i think the Panthers take this one and send the Boys home.. But good luck and i dont have a big bet on this, simply my base play.. GO TITANS.. also still waiting on LSU,..

1 other quick fact:

Dallas, playing on the road -- against a team with a better record, was outscored 77-17 this year.

Good luck, should be fun..

Ted best of luck with your play today, I couldn't get to trusting QB Carter and had to go against him today. But I wish you the best of luck my friend, and Aloha CC.

Look for me to be capping college hoops more now that the bowl season is concluded. Just didn't feel like it today. Wanted to enjoy the NFL. Almost made a play on Detroit in the NBA today but decided to pass and just take it easy. Yes, hoops are in the near future.
