Yep! If you read my write-up you'll see that's exactly what I said she might do. I tried to beat her to no avail. Next. Got Tulsa -7 in the 2nd half. Back to the game.

Ted: What is the story with the Dodgers stuggling to score runs against what I would call weak pitching of late??? Being on the east coast I don't see them play much & it seems that recently their offense is in a major funk. I know you see more of them than I do & I would appreciate an update on the Dodgers inability to light up the score board.

For two months, I have felt the Dodgers are not as good as everyone thinks, particularly their starting pitching. Now the hitting has gone dead in the water. Game after game they can't hit with runners in scoring postions. Believe it or not, it started when Manny returned Pierre was replaced by him. I've seen Manny night after night strikeout with runners in scoring position. He has something like only 10 RBI's in over a month. The team played better with Pierre and with more sense of urgency. Now, when I watch them they look bored half the time figuring they have the NL West locked in. I see every game night after night and even when the Giants were 9 games out, I thought they would close the gap. The Dodgers are under .500 since the All-Star break. Hope that helps a little.

Well that would explain why they won so many game earlier in the season.

Ted, do you have your eye on anything for college football tomorrow?

I was thinking the same thing in regards to Manny/Pierre situation, I have never liked Manny & I never will, lost all respect for him as a player & a person when he quit on his team in Boston, was a good hitter on steroids. IMO the Phils,Rocks,Cards, & SF all have superior pitching to the Dodgers, I see an early exit for the Dodgers come post season.

I have made only one play so far and that is California over Maryland. I am still studying the whole card, game by game and still have a lot of work to do before deciding on my plays.

I agree with your pitching assessment on the Dodgers. I also think they could have a early exit depending on who they are playing in the first round of the playoffs.

What's the best play on college football, the moneyline or the spread?

It depends. If you have a dog that you think can win outright, then playing the moneyline is the way to go. Otherwise, playing the spread would be the play IMHO.
