That's because the academies are almost always underdogs or very short favorites. Big advantage there, especially when they are catching a team between conference games. GT is a more respectable program, so they aren't going to get as many favorable lines. I've always loved these option offenses as big dogs with their ability to shorten games...Navy used to be especially tough on the road.

right but remember this is the team AFTER playing an academy in week 1 so has nothing to do with academies being underdogs other than these teams were likely favored in week 1 vs the academy but that 3-22 SU figure is the week after they played an academy to open the season but that is with an avg line of +9.5 as it is largely poor FCS schools that the acadamies schedule to begin a season

I was referring to the entire season, not just the first (2nd) week.
