Russell- It isn't that isnt very good, he is GOD AWFUL He is the worst secondary player I have seen at OSU since my Freshman year at OSU and that is more than 15 years ago.

To the point you made about Tress bringing in Bauserman in the 2nd qtr...I think they had to do that. Say Prior got hurt on the final series of the game...It would be difficult to go into USC with a guy who had zero in-game experience...I realize he only had about 6-8 plays but they had to do it.
What about the recruitment of Shugarts and Adams at tackles? It just goes to show something isn't right if two highly-touted recruits cannot supplant Miller and/or Cordle to play at either of the tackle positions...
I think they have team speed this season. Faster then in years past, but Ross Homan needs to step up and someone, beit Sabino or Spitler, someone needs to do something defensively at any of the LB spots...COleman played huge yesterday, but get Russel out of there and get Hines int here full-time as FS. Neither Torrence or Amos did anything to stand out yesterday either...
I didn't realize OSU has any TE's on their roster until yesterday because no one has seen a TE in years, but Ballard and Stonebrunner can be nice weapons...Next week should be a little different if both Posey and Small are actually healthy and can play at WR.
I am not veryimpressed with Boom. I realize t is more the OL then him, but Saine looked like he did a couple of years ago at times...shit is frustrating...

Teams make the biggest improvements from wk 1 to wk 2. The one troubling thing for OSU was they they still looked very slow against a team athletically they should have dominated. Remember the service academies have a weight limit so they cannot have linemen above 260lb. The Middies dominated both lines of scrimmage yesterday against much larger players. I would venture to say that man for man they were outweighted by 30+ pounds. What does this mean...in the trenches, OSU is not athletic. They are still slow at the point of attack.
Still, the game is on the road, and I want see Barkley perform in hostile environment. Let's wait on the line fellas

Ohio State will make a much better game of it then is being stated. BigTen, my good friend is an OSU alum, and he texted me during yesterday's Ohio State game (he was at the game) saying the same exact thing (assrape). I do not believe Barkley will fail under the intense atmosphere, however I think this is Pryor's official coming out party. Anytime you can get Ohio State + points in the Horseshoe, take it.
