Not saying OSU should be in however for all of the Bama supporters out there what if Arkansas does not convert some crazy 4th and 25 wild lateral vs Ole Miss in OT 3 weeks ago, Bama would be in the exact same situation as OSU, their regular season would be over, and Ole Miss would be playing UF for the SEC title. It was all out of Bama's control. But since Arkansas converted one of the most amazing plays in football this year now Bama is in the playoff. Do you have Bama in the playoff if Ole Miss wins that game?

If you watch football and know anything about it....right now Bama is the top 2 in the nation.

My rankings:

1 Oklahoma
2 Bama
3 Clemson
4 Mich St (if Cook is healthy)

Ohio St is ranked #31 in scoring offense, #2 in scoring defense and #35 in strength of schedule.

Oklahoma just moved into #1 in strength of schedule (www.teamrankings.com)

You don't win your conference, you need outside help. It's simple. ACC winner/BIG TEN winner/Oklahoma look to be as is in as can be. They would all be conference winners with 1 loss. That trumps Ohio St. Buckeye hope rests on Florida beating Alabama in some kind of fluky game where they score 3 special teams/defensive touchdowns and beat Bama by 1 in a sloppy Bama performance. Florida is the only team I can see OSU jumping and even that would be a long shot, because they would be a conference winner. Meyer fucked up when he chose Corduroy Jones to be his QB. Some of us here in the off-season were saying he wasn't the right QB especially considering the mindset it takes to backup a title.

...Jones didn't qb the loss to mich st...

You're right. The damage had already been done. Underwhelming offensive production when Barrett should have been getting reps, especially with brand new oc's or co-oc's or whatever oddball system they have this year. If Cordoroy were lughting it up, Meyer wouldnt have started bringing Barrett in for red zone offense....remember the saying, if you have two qb's you have none.

Big10 is the best top to bottom conference in football this year according to the committee. If they are wrong then that is the committee's fault, but they do not believe the Big10 is weak....

I know they have my team ranked number one, but they are really clueless. Top to bottom, the Big 10 is the worst of the power five conferences, although the ACC is close. The Big 10 has a few excellent teams at the top, but the depth is lacking.

So MSU, Iowa, OSU, Mich, NW, Wisky is worse then Clemson, North Carolina, FSU, Miami, Pitt and Duke? umm ok
Miami had to go to OT at home to beat the 10th place big ten team and Miami is the 4th best ACC team.

I don't know if the Big ten is the best top to bottom or not but they are certainly better then the ACC.
