I'm a first time poster, but I play offshore and read this site sometimes.

I got a question. If in the case of Cascade something were to happen, how could a financial backer, which I assume to mean lent them $ be responsible for Cascades other debts? Afterall, all the "backer" did was loan $ to help someone out.

I mean if a company took money in from a bank, would the bank also be responsible for other credito already?

Comments are invited.. thanks, Milkman

Excellent question...

I agree with you and would not hold the lender responsible...

Depends if you are talking about a "backer" as a lender or as an owner (or anyone who has a vested interest in the book)

Owners are responsible for financial losses incurred

Senditin, Cascade has alot beter value then Pinnacle on just about all future Props. Most of the time you can't even bet a future prop at Pinnacle unless its before the season starts or when the Postseason begins. I believe this is what keeps Pinnacle from being the best shop out there in my mind. Cascade offers you Future props throughout the season and thats important for the guy that bets futures

Assuming that they do have a future, Cascades future props are far and away better then what Pinnacle has to offer.

Redeye,

I rarely play future props especially distant future props like number of wins for the Packers this season etc. It ties up money for too long a period. You can't beat the discount vig at Pinnacle, which over time will save you a ton versus Cascade. Again never had any issues with Cascade when I did play there...just didn't see much in the way of value on a day to day basis.

hi lander!!

Do you plan to make yourself available for one-on-one interaction at the Vegas bash? I am not making reference, of course, to the Borat sort of interaction.

I would be most interested in having the opportunity to introduce myself.

VVV,
As much as I appreciate your promises to not treat me like a mountain goat in Nepal, I will not be attending the LV bash.

I will be rolling over as many days as possible in anticipation for a month-long trip to S. America late next year.

Should I hit the Mega Millions tonight - the rollover can kiss my ass & I'll buy you a drink or 12 in Vegas

Shrink-
You started this thread like you have some information. Then you basically say, "Tune in tomorrow.."
Tomorrow has come and gone.

There are supposedly over 2000 views of this thread, and nobody knows any more than he did two days ago.

If you know something, please spill it, or you should deduct all hits to this thread from the figures for this site's advertising rates.

In case anyone missed it in the other Cascade thread:

News circulated earlier today within the Industry have just surfaced on Gambling911 :

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
06.22.04 (7:01 pm ET) - This just in to the Sports911 news desk: at least 60 big players have left Cascade Sports this afternoon as part of a major credit package. This is expected to be a dagger to the fledgling Costa Rica based shop, which recently fired a handful of its managers. 60 of Cascade's most prominent customers were part of this vital package.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One player part of this package has just reported to me directly that the information posted on 911 is true.
-----------------------------------------
This has nothing to do with an agenda or percieved Shrink conspiracies. The information came from a very different source.

Here ya go...

At least one backer, and possibly 2 have pulled out of Cascade. Lenny has always been a stand up guy and says it is business as usual. Now you can decide what to do since my opinion doesn't matter...

senditin, I do alot better in the long run then the short term.I don't mind tying up my money for a few months because the return is usually good. I need shops like Cascade to hedge my long term investments.Hopefully there going to be ok
