Was hoping someone could steer me to a site with different ideas on how to run different types of pools for March Madness or if anyone here has any ideas. Thanks in advance

quick and easy way is this....

have each entrant fill out their projected winner for each game of each round through the championship...

For each correct winner, award 1 point for each correct first round winner, 3 points for each second round winner, 6 points for each third round winner, 9 points for each fourth round winner, 12 points for the fifth and 15 points for the national champion.

As a tiebreaker, have each entrant include their projected total score for the championship game.

person with highest number of points wins....you may want to provide that 70% of the money goes to the winner, 20% for second place and 10% for third..or something like that.

One pool we have ever year is a bracket pool. It's luck not skill but it's fun. Get 16 people at 10 or 20 dollars each. When they make up the brackets each player gets 4 teams as they appear in the bracket. Like 1 plays 16, 8 plays 9,this is one 4 team bracket. The next bracket is the 5, 12, 4, and 13 seeds and so on. This way everyone gets a team in the sweet 16. We have the same 16 people every year. You should sign up 16 people first or right now. Cut up the 4 teams brackets put them in envelopes and let the 16 people draw an envelope and sign there name on it. When all 16 are gone let everyone know what have. The reason you wait till the end is if the 4 # one seeds are gone people will drop out. You can have winner take all or a 70-30 split. What ever you like.
