It would be interesting to see how many players have either forgot to make picks till it was too late, couldn't get to a computer or whatever. I myself have missed 2. I would have won one and lost one. Just hope I don't finish out of the money by one game. Anybody else?

I missed one on saturday morning. was traveling and didn't look know I had a day game. Sucks cause I had the right side but couldn't get to a computer until I got to the hotel room. By then the game had started.

4-7 just sounds better than 3-8. Still probably a loser though

TN, you are not mathetically eliminated and could go on a roll and win the rest of them.

As for sharps and squares. Almost half the contest remains and ten or eleven games is not an adequate sample to base any judgements on just yet. Hell even Jim Feist can have a bad run.

One of my failures to pick was on a Saturday in which I got too involved in foots and forgot to post a winning pick. The other I was stranded without a computer last week in the mountains and when I had tried to post it Saturday night and Sunday morning before leaving the RX was under a DOS attack. Oh well

. The rules is rules baby. That one I would have lost anyway.

10 wins will get anyone into the playoffs. Yes the Eastern Conf is much tougher than the Western at this point, but that will likely balance out in the end.

Fact is that if you win 10 you will make the playoffs and get your $100 back. If you dont win 10 (half) then just accept the loss.

I'm assuming that the "playoffs" are the top 8 players in each conference, with the 2 division winners guaranteed a spot and being the 1 and 2 seeds - just like the NBA. If that is indeed the case, then there's not too much difference between the conferences - the eighth and final spot in the east is at .500, and the final spot in the west is just one game below with the remaining 7 all at .500 or above.

We also have to consider that the East might just have easier teams to handicap. I believe I have the easiest team in the NBA to cap. The Magic are so overrated its pathetic, and I would be 10-1 except for the fact that I actually said they would cover twice. I dont know what I was thinking. This team sucks. Had a Season win total of 46. LMAO.

We also get to see our teams because they play earlier. Anyone with a job might have to be in bed by 10 - 11 P.M., which is too early for most west coast games.
