Doesn't look like the over is going to hit for the 2nd game of the game.

I'm excited for this game:

What a day. Almost went 3-0 except my second play of the day was victim of the hook! (.5)

Anyways..

+215.52 for the day

+332.84 since the start of thread

Day Record: 2W-1L

Overall Record:
8W-5L-1P

Today was pretty good. Sad I didn't go 3-0 but who wouldn't take 2-1? I've looked at a couple games for tomorrow and have a huggeeeee play of the day! Better check it out later.

Curious? How many people actually find my picks and tracking helpful? An insight would help. Thanks!

Hey man I don't know about other people, but Im following your plays and I appreciate your picks. You seem to have a good grasp on totals and even though you use a martingale system I feel comfortable following it because from what I've seen so far if you loose one you usually bounce right back and win the next one. So its not like you loose 4 or 5 in a row and I have to dig deep to keep doubling up. The only problem I had is I lost on a few of the games and then I missed your next pick, which ofcourse was a winner so I havn't been able to profit as much, but thats my fault for missing it. I just gotta remeber to check this thread before all the start times to make sure I don't miss a winning pick.

Well you hit the nail on the head. The bad thing about using the Martingale system is when you do go 4-5 or even 6 straight losses; furthermore, if you loose that many in a row I'd suggest not betting totals as it wouldn't be that profitable. :missingte

Sorry you missed some of my plays. If you see me simply post a bet without a "write up" or atleast a bit of explanation then i'm away from my puter and don't have time to post a writeup from my cell phone; don't worry I have reasons to bet!

Matter a fact, I'm gonna post my first play for tomorrow in a min with a write up.

The bad thing about the martingale system too is when you want to end the day in the green. I might have a strong lean on a game but it might not be till my 3 or 7 at night. So it prob isn't my first bet of the day... hope that makes since as I like to bet 3 games a day. Noon (12)- Mid (3pm)- and a late game. That way I can double up in the same day..?

Anyways. Glad to see the Baron is with me!:103631605

Baron-

Bet 10 bucks a game for a while so If we do need to double up you're not diggin' to keep. Then once you build up your roll you can start at 20. Don't over extend yourself bud! Nothing wrong with betting 5, 15, or 20 a game.. because when you double up that ends up being 10,30, and 40 before you know it.

Whoa! Close, I just took a look at my two 12-team parlays. One of them went 9W-2L-1P! Anyways.

Day 6

I've decided to cap all my games at once and stagger my writeups in accordance to start times. That way you'll know my order of bets for the day. Obviously if I win a wager on my first game I'm not going to double up on my second game. Hope that makes since. That way you all know my bets for the day just not the amounts; You can assume a loss will be followed by a martingale double up!

Bet 1- Seattle at Toronto (1:07 PM ET)

Don't let Purcey's high era of 11.05 startle you into immediately betting the over. His only two starts this season was against the Philly's and Tigers -known for some hot bats at one point or another. He has a 2.08 era at home which many will overlook.

Purcey has a 4.24 era in his last 3 starts.

Head to head the under has hit 6 out of 7 times these two teams have met.

Play Under 9.5

Bet 2- Yankees at Boston (3:55 PM ET)

Starting for the Yankee's is Mr. Andy Pettitte with a 2.05 era in the past 3 starts! As a starter in the past 10 games the under has hit 8 times. The last
time he started vs. Boston was on 7/3/08 and the under hit. Overall this season the under has hit 17 times out of 21 starts for Andy.

Wakefield has a 3.04 era for the season at home. The under/over stat is a wash with a 8-8 record as a starter for over/unders.

Yankee's as a team have hit 7 unders, 2 overs, and 1 push in the last 10 games.

Boston has 6 unders, 3 overs, and 1 push in the past 10 games.

Play Under 9

The line opened at 8.5 but jumped up to 9. Why? People immediately think a Boston/Yank game will be a high scoring match up. They ignore the numbers for that day.

Bet 3- Angels at Baltimore (7:05 PM ET)

Liz has a 11.57 era in his last 3 starts; furthermore he has a 5.82 era at home which is still pretty bad especially against the Angels and their bats. In his last 10 starts the over has hit 9 times.

Garland has a 4.12 era average for the season. In his last 10 starts the over has only hit twice while pushing the total twice too. So in other words the under only hit 6 out of 10 times for Garland. Expect the bats for the Halo's to add some extra runs early.

The over is 8-2-1 in BAL last 11 Saturday night games.

Play Over 10

Bet 4- Arizona at San Fran (9:05 PM ET)

In the last 3 starts Brandon Webb has a 1.29 era and only a 2.71 era away from home. The last time he pitched at SF was on 4/22/08 with a win of 4-1 keeping the total under 7.5.

Lincecum has a 3.66 era at home with a 2.55 era at night.

Head to head Arizona crushed them yesterday with a score of 10-2. But the last time a team scored more than 10 runs or more the following day they only had 7 runs total.

In the past 20 times these teams met head to head the total amount of runs under 6.5 was only 6 times.

Don't fall victim to the appetizing 6.5 over; believe me the books realize the Joe Public will say, "6.5? Dude that's so low! $400 on the over! Cha-Ching"

Play Under 6.5

Hope everyone has a profitable day from these picks! Remember this is a martingale thread. Bet these games in order and double up! Hope you like the new way I'm posting plays. This way it's easier for you all to know what I'm doing throughout the day.

OMG! I was outside and I missed betting on the Baltimore over 10. So I bet on the Arizona under 6.5. What do you think Odsmaker. Am I going to be able to pull this one? Finger crossed.
