Hi Guys,
I've been lurking on therx for quite some time, but never posted before. The reason I signed up today was to share with you a new web-tool I've made which allows you to do some pretty cool stuff.
The tool is still in beta, so we're asking for lots of feedback on it and hope to keep adding to it over the coming months.
Before we get started, I'd just like to say this website is FREE. There's no BS here, no popups. We have a very nice "web 2.0" look and feel and are proud of how clean it looks.
The website is called OddsFire.com
It essentially brings two brand new things to sports odds:
1) Instant Search
Remember when you had to press "Enter" when you went to google to search? Now you just type and everything gets searched with each new character.
We took this "Instant Seach" feature and applied it to OddsFire.com so when some capper posts a team unknown to you, or maybe an abbreviation you don't quite understand, you can use OddsFire.com to quickly find the exact match and odds for that game. I challenge you to find odds for a game anywhere on the internet faster than on OddsFire.com
2) Historical Line Movement Graphs
See someone post +5.5 but can only find +4.5 because you got there too late? Now you can check to see if the line moved that full point and you got in late or if it was the opening line but bought it.
Again, this isn't just a table and its not your grandmother's attempt at excel graphs. These are dynamic, zoom-able and configurable graphs. They are fast and they are accurate. Mouse over the points and get all the details. We are all about usability and I promise there's really nothing out there as nice and easy to use as this right now.
---
Again, keep in mind we just started this month. There's a lot more to come on OddsFire.com but when we release something new we like do it right. For now, enjoy the features available and please use our forum to suggest features YOU would like to see. We want to make this YOUR site.
Anyway, the community here has given a lot to me over the years and I just thought sharing this tool would be a very small way to give something back. I can only hope it helps you guys pick more winners, faster, better and easier.
Thanks,
sapidoc
