Guys, this is to further explore the sportsbook odds alerts / notification function I'm building into an app. that I'll offer up for you to test drive (PM me to get on the invite list). The idea is a bettor can custom define the alert rules in which to get notified.
So imagine your in the app., and created your alert rule:
- You selected your sports, league, game(s), bet type (ats/totals/ml) and sportsbook(s).
Now your going to create the rules in which to get alerted via email/sms/popup/push notification, etc.
ALERT RULES: (with a point spread view).
Option 1: Key Numbers
- Alert me if the point spread is (select - equal/greater/less than) to the key number of (user input value. ex. +7).
Option 2: Line Movements
- Alert me if the stake / risk is (select - equal/greater/less than) the value of (user input value. Ex. -125).
Option 3: Sportsbook Variations
- User picks "point spread" or "stake/risk". Based on their selection...
a) Point Spread: Alert me if the point spread is (select - more than/less than) (user input value. ex. 5) points across any of the Sportsbooks you selected.
b) Stake/Risk: Alert me if the stake/risk is (select - greater than/less than) (user input value. ex. 5) (user input measure. ex. percentage or points) across any of the Sportsbooks you selected.
Am I missing anything, do these sound correct, is there others I should consider or replace the above? Thanks all.
