Obama damned well better attend these funerals or send WH representatives. Is he ever going to contact Kate's family. He did not even send a representative to her funeral. If he attends (which he probably will not) he would be inside a bullet proof vehicle and surrounded by people carrying guns. Hmmmmm.

So you are saying that Obama is not responsible for this senseless killing...you are blaming Bush?
Obama is responsible for this because he's president but bush isn't responsible for 9/11 and the decade long wars we shouldn't be fighting. Yeah, that makes sense.

Mantis and Scott.. great posts. Russ you are grasping at straws here, can't blame the pres on everything. it would be unimaginable to place bullet proof glass at all recruiting offices. I mean was anyone pushing for that and O says absolutely not? all future shooters will just have to do is open the door. if we have an outbreak of this then it's time for different recruiting methods

So you give him a pass. If you only knew how much the Federal Gov't spends on things that do not make half as much sense as bullet proof glass. No one was pushing for that because it takes an incident like this for it to surface. My point is that it should surface now. We must take steps to protect those who have been deprived of the ability to protect themselves much less ordered to not be able to. You can put electric locks on doors and open them on command etc. All these types of security procedures exist. Security like that would impress applicants and give them confidence in the military right off the bat. If you think I am grasping at straws then you gave never used one. If it was not his fault that this happened then the next time it happens it is on him. I guess Ft Hood did not count because that was work place violence lol. Leaders step up.

No security steps were taken to protect those that died. That falls on someone and all fingers point to the top.

BP: Here is another straw. Obama took credit for the killing of Bin Laden. Really. Bin Laden had been holed up there for a couple of years and was a sitting duck. It took Obama forever to give it the go. He then takes credit and releases the name of the unit that actually did it which in fact exposed them. Bottom line is Obama took credit for it and used it to his advantage as such. So as Potus he should get a pass on what happened not only in Chattanooga but at Ft Hood and the Navy Yard also not to mention the killing in SF. Whatever. Leaders do everything they can to prevent things like those from happening. What is unimaginable is for Obama or anyone on his pathetic staff to even be able to conceptualize something like bullet proof glass, beyond their comprehension. They live in their own little world. Again, security measures can prevent "just opening the door" in the future, again something this administration did not even consider. If you are going to take credit for killing bin Laden you have to take responsibility for the Chattanooga tragedy and for damned sure all similar incidents that may lay in the future. Five people dedicated to protecting this country were deprived of protection. What part of that don't you understand. Kate in SF was at the wrong place at the wrong time but being in a safe haven is her cause of death. I quit grasping at straws on Obama a long time ago. He takes credit for the good things and distances himself from the bad things.

Hundreds of people have continued to pay tribute to the five servicemen killed in Thursday's deadly rampage in Chattanooga.
Residents from the Tennessee city visited the recruitment center, the first site attacked by gunman Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, to pay their respects on Saturday, hours after the fifth victim of the shootings, Randall Smith, died from the wounds he suffered.
Families and ex-servicemen also paid their respects at the Navy Operational Support Center, seven miles away, where the five servicemen were killed.
Many were seen praying against crosses or kneeling alongside American flags as the outpouring of grief continued in the wake of last week's attacks.
Vigils have been held around the city, with many coming together in the aftermath of the attack which has been described as an 'act of terrorism'.

Pentagon Not Targeting Islamic State Training Camps

No airstrikes against 60 camps producing 1,000 fighters monthly
By Adam Kredo, NEW BEACON

The Pentagon has not conducted airstrikes against an estimated 60 Islamic State (IS) training camps that are supplying thousands of fighters each month to the terror group, according to defense and intelligence officials.

The camps are spread throughout Islamic State-controlled areas of Iraq and Syria and are off limits in the U.S.-led international bombing campaign because of concerns about collateral damage, said officials familiar with planning and execution of the yearlong bombing campaign.

"collateral damage"

Dear Barry Homeslice,

If the islamofascists ever take me hostage please drop a bomb that covers 5 square miles. I and my fellow captives are already dead anyway. Plus I'm horrified by the screams I hear outside my dungeon by little Yazidi girls being raped. Thanks!
