The National Enquirer has more credibility than The New York Times and The Washington Post combined. Just look at how each handled the John Edwards mistress/love child fiasco.
So one story established credibility for the whole history of all 3 newspapers combined? One event does not establish a trend, nor does it establish credence for a whole institution.
