Any y'all think that we all evolved from swamp goo... ..

It seems at least a notch more likely than thinking that men were created from the dust of the earth (dry goo?) and that women were created from a rib taken out of a man.

Intelligent? This coming from the guy who thinks muslims are a threat to our country? Actually read or listen to it first before you come at me with bullshit. Otherwise your only a spectator. If there was a pop up book version i'd buy it for you.

I'm begging one of you illiterate lefties to PLEASE use YOU'RE correctly!!!! It's not that freakin difficult. :ohno:
Where, pray tell, did you attend 2nd grade at punter, gtc, sweetlou, and 3peet? I understand english may be the 2nd language with most of the folks in your town but there/their/they're and your/you're should be like writing A B C. These simple ridiculous grammatical errors make any possible salient points you make...moot. Hell, I don't even remember what the thread is about I just remember 3peet misusing "your" again, friggin moron. Well, maybe the government can help you with this issue since higher education certainly didn't.
:think2:
:puke1:

That rant should last me a while. Seriously figure the shit out because it's annoying as hell to be on a political forum, even one at therx, and feel like you're talking to imbeciles

Actually, no it doesn't.

I saw a commercial the other day about how someone thinks they can recreate the big bang? I swore I saw SOMETHING about that. Can't wait for that to play out.

I don't know what's worse, his grammer or his failure to recognize what happened on 9/11/2001. Nah, [fanatical Islamist] Muslims are "no threat" to our country. :smoking:

the speech was horrible, the brainwashing has begun, and all of you have bought into that garbage of a new america that there are selling. come back in four years and tell me how your (proper use) life has changed because of barack obama.

rolltide, it seems they all got F's in 2nd grade english. this would explain the admittance to USC, Miami, and Florida State:nohead:

While I don't agree with 3peet most of the time, please do not lump SC in with Miami and Florida St. in regards to academics. Unfortunately, most people today can't spell worth a lick.

My grammer has never been a strong point for me. Steak reminds me daily. You can tell when the wife makes a post for fun. It is worded and spelled perfectly.

But I do know that liberals will just never understand its about the people and not the government.

lets be honest. as a private school, money drives admission more at USC than most places. so if some alumni's kid who got a 2.4 in high school wants to attend USC his daddy drops off a check for a couple hundred k at the deans office. it has been my experience, in my field of expertise, that people with masters degrees from USC are very sharp. the same cant be said for those who only graduate with a bachelors degree from USC as you can tell them apart from UCLA, and even long beach state alum. i have a lot of friends who have attended USC who will spit out this same garbage, but when you are 32 and living at your moms house or 34 and still a valet, that says something. im just not sure if it is schooling, work ethic, or just a south county thing.

That may have been true back in the day, and it's certainly the perception out there, (and deserved in the past) but it's just not the case any more. It's TOUGH to get into USC, and their academic requirements are much tougher than they used to be. With that said, I've talked to many an alum from many a school, only to shake my head in disbelief at times. I guess you get what you put into it. My son is 2, it'll be interesting to see if he even NEEDS to attend college. With the soaring costs, I've seen a few reports saying it's almost at the point where the extra money you make from a degree may not even make up for the money spent for school. It's sad.
My sister, God bless her, is a complete moron. I have no idea how she has a bachelor's degree from Long Beach State.

El Taino, better question. Why do you feel compelled to attach it to your name to address a sports wagering fourm, sub division political fourm?

1) math, at the highest level is somewhat based on theory and theory is considered an art
2) my math is APPLIED, therefore i use it in another discipline (ethnography) in which i also have an M.A.
3) if you find a university in the U.S. with a M.S. in math that isnt part of a doctorate, i would be very surprised

Well, explain that to Zit. He still thinks the world is flat.

and Taino. I could care less about admission standards to my alma mater. Not sure who brought up comparisons to other SoCal schools in here either. All I know is the nieghbors on either side of me both graduated from UCLA. None of them could tell me what the the 3 (or 4) branches of government are. And these are those arrogant asian brainiacs who boastfully bragged about their master degrees during our initial converstations when we all moved in here. Know what their main topic of conversation is now? That they're flat broke, a payment away from losing their beautiful homes, and asking me to borrow a few hundred to help pay their mortgages. (sshhhh but don't say anything. you know, cause we have a masters from UCLA.)

Willie i used to think you were ok but it's clear you've absolutely lost it. He's talking about islamic extremists. Thats who the hell terrorists are. Please tell me your ignorant ass doesn't believe all muslims are terrorists either.

C'mon Willie, I thought you were better than that.

I don't think all Muslims are a threat, but Muslims are a threat. After all, virtually all terrorist acts in the world are committed by Muslims.

If you meant "all Muslims" are not a threat, then I concur with your statement. Around here, there are many seem to think that Muslims are not a problem at all.

Even good Muslims know fanatical Muslims are a real threat.
