Sports teams value is given by their market, not at all their performance let's say... in the last 15 years.
Same kind of example like the Knicks for the NBA are the Toronto Maple Leafs for the NHL. They have been mostly s..hit not for just the last 15 years, but for a lot longer. But nothing comes close to their worth compared to other NHL teams.
