If you do well. . . Some improper grammer around here. . .

:nohead:

This is a joke, right? Surely you intentionally misspelled "grammar" to make your comment appear even more funny. Otherwise you'd look like a truly illiterate douche for whom standard written English remains a mere notion, something at which one feigns but never something one masters.

WIN Some - LOSE Some !!

Piranha , we all have bad days and this really ain't one of em, ... going 2-2 - it's all about Money Management. PRIOR to looking at your selections, I had SAN DIEGO, ARIZONA, and MIAMI. and really got into your thread when you posted SF and the UNDER. I missed out on your other 2 Selections. So, really OVERALL with your selections, I went 3 - 1 -1. That ain't so bad, especially since I made my own 3 team parlay to boot (San Diego -8, Arizona -6' and Miami -3). Also, after reviewing the lines my bookie had, which was New Orleans +3 while everywhere else on the internet it was N Orleans giving 1 - 2 points. I discovered this just before kickoff and couldn't get my bet in - because my bookie's telephone line was busy! SOoOooo I lost out on that one. KEEP ON POSTING, and IGNORE them other fellows that shoot you down because you gave em losers! - I APPRECIATE your contributions to this FORUM and wish you the BEST of LUCK in the upcoming games! :toast:

Piranha - Even though I missed most of your plays yesterday due to the tailgating festival at the Jets-Dolphins game I did get on the SF -2.5 game so I'm grateful for that. On the whole 2-2 is not a bad day so I dont know what everyone is complaining about.

I know i'm speaking on behalf of a large group here and we hope to continue to receive your plays and insight because you do have the stuff!

My two cents (priceless)...

Piranha, I thought you were a decent guy until I saw this thread. And I didn't change my opinion of you because of the plays you supplied, you could've went 0-4 and I wouldn't think negatively of you. But, if you come on here TELLING people to start asking you to share your plays instead of just doing so, it's stupid. What are you trying to prove? You've been around for a while, you know how shit works around here. If you do well, you'll still probably get some shit but more praise. If you do bad, you'll probably get no attention at all. But if you come on here, tell people "if you give me enough attention i'll post my plays", and go 1-2-1 with your POSTED plays (some advice: don't tell people you personally went 6-1 after your posted plays go 1-2-1, you'll only anger the already angry), of course you'll get shit.

Post your plays if you want to, don't post them if you can't handle the feedback you may get if you fail, but more importantly, don't act like an attention seeking whore.

Hope you learned from this experience.

Totally agree Ramon!!!! P, use to be one of the people I always checked out. You were a great handicapper. Haven't seen you post much the past 2 years, and now this attention shit. And your doing it across the street to boot. Lost a little respect my man. Not sure why you don't post your picks also, you use to be really good!!

Quite the unbelievable thread.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
One thing to keep in mind- NOBODY posts in these forums with the major intention of doing so to help others. While their selections may assist that is not the intention. We all have real friends, people we actually like, that we can actually choose to help.

Most people post to get a buzz, have people respect their selections and maybe engage in some dialogue. Some forums, not necessarily this one, are very sanctimonious in their stated purpose as being to help others. Complete BS.

There is no intention to help others in this thread. He already stated he wanted you to prove your worth. He stated that he went 6-0 on his “own-selections” but wouldn’t share them because he was mad at you. This form of posting “ sharp plays”, “bookie plays is becoming the norm on all sites. If they go well then the poster feels self-important, drream about making some extra money perhaps by selling their picks in some way, and when they go south he can remain and come up with another style. No big deal just accept it for what it is. Bet them, don't bet them. read it, don't read it.

It makes no difference anyway. It’s just another way of demeaning a hobby that seems to be taken over by lunatics.

Anyway I’m too new here to be judgmental I suppose.

Well, #1 it is "grammar", and number two as it is a myth that you cannot end your sentence with a preposition, i.e. What are you looking at?, it is also a myth that good can not be used as an adverb.

In both the Oxford and Webster dictionaries, its usage is acceptable as both an adjective and a verb, though certainly, "do good" is pretty ghetto. It's more the evolution of language that has caused the rift between "good" and "well" not the dictionary, as they have not changed.

Yea,I lost on the the SF Under.Ultimately is was my choice to follow the play.No one here is forced to play any plays that anyone posts. If you lose your bet then its your responsiblity, you chose to make the bet. This info is free.Take resposibility for your decisions, its not cool to blame someone who is trying to help you just because it doesnt go your way.A true sports gambler understands that losses will occur, they focus more on longterm results. This is a great forum with great info.I for 1 appreciate the efforts of posters like Piranha who share info and knowlege with the rest of the members of the site.Thats what this site is all about IMO.Thanks for the plays Piranha.Better Luck next week.
There are alot of great people on here that do understand this as we've seen by the expressions in this thread.I just wanted to express my appreciation as well.GL everyone.

Anyway I’m too new here to be judgmental I suppose.

If I really wanted to be an attention whore........I should have started all these posts by saying it was my own picks and get all the accolades from these winners. I knew they were winners because I have been playing them for a while and winning with them. BUT no I gave credit to the right people who were giving it to me. They do not even know I'm posting it.

I disagree with your statement that nobody cares to help others. Just because your a selfish person does not mean everyone else is like you. One thing I will admit is.......yes I do not mind the attention I'm getting because I'm doing some good and in return I get acknowledgement. That is all I'm asking because when the role was reversed I came on this forum and thanked a certain posters (BB) when he was able to give us valuable info until he decided to leave because of posters like you with negative feedback.

Would you believe it that UT-Longhorn (the poster Wil banned because he was trashing me) sent me a PM asking for my plays if I decided not to post them anymore.

I cannot believe there are people out there that are so messed up.......first you when you lose one play you jump on me. When I threaten not to post anymore they plead for my picks. :think2:
