Big day in football, so laid off of the NBA tonight..didn't cap any games..but the brief time I did spend on NBA lines, the over 206 in the Bulls game stuck out to me a little..gonna lay off and maybe cap a few of the late games if I have time..be back with a play if I have one..

Not really loving tonight's card, but keeping an eye out for a few numbers that I think are interesting, to say the least..will try to find a play to use, but will not force anything..sometimes, success depends upon the games we choose not to wager on

First time this season, that I am backing a team giving as many points as the Celtics are tonight..If it loses, it will most likely be the last, as I hate to bet on heavy faves, in any sport..
I'll try for a writeup in a bit if I have the time..
Leaning on Celtics -5.5 (1st half) also.

If Perkins and Pierce both play, I think Celtics win by double digits..mismatches everywhere on the floor in this game..especially with Calderon out..
They will be going for their 1st back to back win since mid December, and are playing for more than just the W, they are playing for pride..
Walked away from their last win against this Raptors team, talking more about what they did wrong, than what they did right..
Sounds like a team, that is regaining its focus..
With that being said, winning with heavy faves is a grind and getting the best possible line is important..but I would still take the 10.
My advice is to play it small..

Celtics, just didn't show up to play in the 1st half, as they got out-rebounded, out-hustled, and out-worked, in every facet by a very energetic Raptor's team hoping to avenge a loss. The 2nd half, though, was a completely different story. The Celtics bounced back big..They dictated the flow of the game from the 3rd quarter on, almost squeezed out the cover for whole game, and came through easily on the winner for the 2nd half, making for the split, 1-1..
All in all, a very entertaining game to have watched.
If Celtics had played the 1st half, with half the same enthusiasm as they did the 2nd, we would've gotten the double digit victory, I was hoping for, and picked up the win, for 2-0..but I'll take the split..

Detroit Pistons -7
Despite being an above average defensive sqaud, the Bobcats are owners of the 2nd worst record in the East, and their inept offense is largely to blame. Gerald Wallace, is the only real threat the Bobcats possess on offense, and even he, in effect, becomes limited as a result of the attention he draws from opposing defenses. Losing the rookie PG, D.J. Augustine, to injury, can only worsen their situation on offense, as he provides them with a spark, both with the points he provides, and with his ability to stretch a defense with his quick dribbling and speed. Considering their circumstances, the last thing the Bobcats want, is to travel to Detroit, to play a solid, well rested, defensive minded team, in the Pistons. The Pistons may not be the defensive team of yesteryears, but are still one of the better defensive teams in the league. Really feel as though, the Cats will struggle to score in this one, which isn't saying much. With Rasheed Wallace back in the lineup, and Stuckey playing at such a high level, the Piston's should have no problem scoring enough points to cover this number, even without Rip. If he does end up playing, it will only help the cause. In what should be a defensive game, turnovers might also come into play, a department where the Bobcats lead the Pistons by more than 3 turnovers per contest. One of the many, departments the Piston's have an edge in. Even though, 7, is a difficult spread to cover, I think the Piston's manage, comfortably. Will most likely upgrade the play, to investment, if it passes a the necessary tests. Will also be looking to play the Pistons, in the 1st half, once a line becomes available to me.
